Trial, Pro, and payment-required behavior

Understand Lexique 14-day no-card trial behavior, Pro access, and what happens after trial expiration.

Trial start

New users can sign in without a card. The 14-day trial starts when the user successfully creates or imports the first project.

During the trial

  • Create and edit projects.
  • Import, edit, and export translations.
  • Create API tokens and use API sync.
  • Evaluate GitHub and GitLab import workflows.

After expiration

Non-Pro users keep access to account and billing screens, but product activity is blocked until upgrade. API routes use `402 payment_required` so CLI and agent clients can handle the state predictably.
